People very often willing to think and act in a big way and if we use the same style for meditators, where will be the peace for them. Therefore, I prefer to explain the benefits of meditation in the simplest way.
If a person can sleep well at night, he or she will be very satisfied. This will be very well understood by those who have experienced sleepless nights. So, the most important cause of life is to get a sound sleep at night after attending to different activities during the day. The following day will be a real agony, if a person could not rest like that even for a day. The sleep helps to revitalize body and also the mind. During the day he or she may have to mingle with various activities at home, office, shops markets, roads, schools, meetings and parties etc. and at end of the day he or she becomes very tired.
What do a person expects nothing but a peaceful time for him or her -self to have a good sleep. A person having experienced rest will immensely gets the benefit of a productive day ahead. Meditation will help a person to sleep well but do not expect it to happen overnight. People having sleeping disorders will take a longer period to recover as it is a gradual process and you have to continue your practice regularly and also have to keep a trust on it. Those who have no problem with sleep will also get benefits within a short time and their output in life will become more productive than before.
If a person is methodical and plans his or her day, he or she will not make mistakes and that save a lot of time. Meditation helps him or her to do the work mindfully and do not leave any space for mistakes, that will save time and energy. Repeating the same work is not necessary if a person is attentive and does everything mindfully. Meditation will prepare a person’s mind to be more focused than before.
Now, I would like to discuss about the stress, this is a very common problem of people now and it also can lead to mental illness or health issues at a long way. Practice of meditation is a relief to get over build up of stress within a person. Stress can be created by different factors and it varies with individuals. The cause of stress can be people, harsh words, family matters, financial difficulties, environment, loneliness, illnesses, ill treatments, work load, neighborhood problems, and deaths of loved ones.
Firstly, a person must understand him or her-self, who am I? And then his or her own family, relatives, outsiders and friends, who are they? If you become friendly with you, you can develop and deal with others in a friendly manner. If a person is not prepared to understand him or her-self, he or she will never understand the others. Meditation is the only technique that will help any person us to be knowledgeable and be friendly with him or her-selves and others.
Meditation changes person’s attitudes towards him or her-self and others. A person’s life will not just flow but bring a meaning to his or her living. Then the person will be happy with everybody else.
Although there are many more benefits one may appreciate by practicing meditation techniques but the three out of all will be more than enough for time been.
